Today's environmental tip: During hot weather, don't top off your gas tank. Refuel your car or truck in the early morning or the evening when it's cooler. A small fuel spill may not seem like much, but every spill evaporates and adds to air pollution, and fuel pumps with vapor recovery systems can feed a spill back into their tanks - after you paid for it. So, in hot weather - don't top off!

en español: Durante el tiempo de calor, no llene excesivamente el tanque de gasolina. Reabastezca de combustible a su automóvil o camión temprano por la mañana o por la noche cuando está más fresco. Una pequeña cantidad de combustible que se derrama no parece mucho, pero cada derrame se evapora y se añade a la contaminación del aire. Además las bombas de gasolina con sistemas de recuperación de vapor pueden llevar el derrame nuevamente a sus tanques aún después de haber pagado por esa gasolina.
